1 Pricing Policy
- All prices listed are starting prices and may be adjusted based on the complexity, volume, and scope of your specific engagement.
- ATS Accounting & Tax Services will notify clients in writing a minimum of 30 days before any pricing change takes effect.
- All services are billed on a prepaid monthly basis. Invoices are issued at the beginning of each billing period.
- Annual prepaid contracts receive a 10% discount applied to the monthly equivalent rate. Annual contracts are non-refundable after the first 30 days.
Our pricing reflects the scope outlined in your engagement letter. If your business needs change significantly, we will work with you to adjust your plan accordingly — always with advance notice.
2 Scope of Work
The scope of services is defined in your engagement letter. Work outside the defined scope may incur additional fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before any out-of-scope work begins.
Examples of out-of-scope work include, but are not limited to: retroactive bookkeeping beyond the agreed catch-up period, additional entity filings not specified in the engagement letter, and ad hoc advisory services exceeding the hours included in your plan.
3 Payment Terms
- Invoices are due on the 1st of each month (or the annual invoice date for prepaid plans).
- Late payments may result in a temporary service hold after 10 days past the due date. ATS will notify the client before placing any hold.
- ATS accepts credit card payments (processed securely via Stripe) and EFT / bank transfer.
- All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified in your engagement letter.
4 Cancellation Policy
- Monthly plans may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Service continues through the end of the notice period.
- Annual prepaid plans are non-refundable after the first 30 days from the start date.
- Annual plan credits — if a client cancels an annual plan after the 30-day refund window, any remaining prepaid balance may be credited toward other ATS services at ATS's discretion.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to your ATS account representative or via email to our support address.
5 Privacy & Confidentiality
ATS treats all client financial information as strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share client data with third parties, except as required by law or with explicit written consent from the client.
- All data is stored using industry-standard encryption and hosted on Canadian servers where applicable.
- Access to client financial records is limited to ATS team members directly responsible for your account.
- ATS complies with Quebec Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector) and applicable Canadian federal privacy legislation.
6 Governing Law
These terms and any engagement with ATS Accounting & Tax Services are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Montreal, Quebec.
