Generally, all services stated in your package and any software licenses included are covered in the monthly fee. If anything is billed separately or considered out of scope, those items will be clearly identified during your onboarding call — no surprises.
Yes — there's an onboarding fee to cover custom workflow setup, technology configuration, and team training. The amount depends on the complexity of your books and which services you're starting with. We'll give you a clear onboarding quote before you commit.
We set up your technology tools, customize and document your workflow, walk through your bookkeeping requirements in detail, provide training for you and your team, and take care of any catch-up bookkeeping needed before we go live.
Typically 30–90 days. During this period we configure your accounting systems, create your unique process flow and monthly checklists, and train your team. If significant catch-up bookkeeping is needed, onboarding may take a little longer.
We handle T1 personal tax returns, QST & GST/HST filings, and year-end bookkeeping support. For corporate T2 filings, we work alongside a CPA firm of your choice and can refer you to trusted partners. Having a dedicated bookkeeper alongside a CPA adds an important layer of oversight to your finances.
Our contracts are straightforward — a services agreement with no fixed term. You can cancel with 90 days' notice. Prefer certainty? Pay annually and save 10%.
Yes. Payroll Management, Accounts Payable, and A/R & Invoicing are add-ons that layer on top of the Monthly Bookkeeping base plan ($1,000/month). For example, adding Payroll Management brings your total to $1,250/month. Adding both Payroll and Accounts Payable brings it to $1,500/month. A/R & Invoicing is billed at $125/hour on top of your chosen package. Your monthly invoice will always show the base plan and each add-on line-item separately so there are no surprises.
